The camera, lens, and lighting capture an image — the vision controller or industrial PC is what actually does something with it. It runs the inspection software, synchronizes multiple cameras against a single trigger, and turns a pass/fail result into a signal the rest of the line can act on.
In continuous production, this box also has to survive the environment it’s running in: heat, vibration, dust, and years of uninterrupted uptime, which is why we specify industrial-grade platforms rather than commercial desktop hardware.
