The lighting technologies we deploy — selected according to inspection complexity, production speed, accuracy requirement, environmental conditions, and automation needs, since the wrong angle can hide a defect a camera would otherwise catch easily.
For lighting specifically, that usually matters more than camera resolution. The right geometry and angle turns a barely-visible scratch, a flush surface, or a clear label edge into something a vision system can reliably detect, frame after frame — and getting the angle wrong is the single most common reason an inspection system underperforms once it’s on the floor.
